6:24 p.m. - I'm really bummed not to be going up to Wisconsin for a camping weekend.  Yesterday was hard.  A full day of trying to motivate students and maybe reaching about 70% of them, and then I had to officiate volleyball at Geneseo again.  It would have been nice to come home and watch a very good Bears football team.  Nope, the best thing about the Bears was seeing the orange uniforms.  That was a really bad football team last night.  

Today isn't going to be much better at school.  Most students look at writing like visiting a dentist.  I'll try to tap dance again today and hopefully reach as many as possible.  

The main goal this weekend will be to get the pool winterized.  That won't happen after school today, as the winds are supposed to be gusty.  Maybe tomorrow or Sunday will be better days.

It is pay day today, and it's also "retention check" today.  I'd like to say I'm doing something special with my extra check.  Unfortunately all the rising costs of life make that check just a little more help with bills.  All the same, it's appreciated.
