8:10 a.m. - Some days are good days...productive, efficient, perhaps even noteworthy and memorable Yesterday started out good...completed the pool project as well as other "cold weather" items regarding the outside of our house. And then I was headed to my parents to have a nice visit.
And then my world went horribly, horribly wrong - not someone is dead wrong, not someone was in an accident or learned of bad news wrong. My world just went inexplicably bad when I received a message from my oldest son. And that's all I'm going to say.
Later in the afternoon I did go visit my parents, and we had a nice visit...I miss seeing them more, and I hope I'm able to spend some extra time with them after this next week. After that, Amber and I went up to the new restaurant here in town, and Shawn and Mary happened to stop by too. We had a nice visit with them.
After that we came home, and I watched some television. I tried to sleep, but I was restless and really didn't get much. I think I'm going to church service, and then I think I'm going to get a hike in at Black Hawk State Park. I think I need a good walk in the woods today.
