4:34 a.m. - Yesterday was awful...just like Thursday...just like Wednesday. I look forward to no longer being the principal at ICE...that day can't get here fast enough. It was nice to be able to get on a basketball court last night and get my mind off the issues that I'm dealing with during my day job. I didn't sleep very well, but maybe I can get an early nap in this morning before starting my day. We have games in Sherrard today at 1 p.m., and I think we also have games to watch at the Mercer County YMCA.
There are two full weeks of basketball officiating season ahead. And then it will be the postseason. Next week will be a long week...lots of double game dates. The last full week has three one-game dates, which is nice. Then it's on to the postseason. I continue to be encouraged by my legs, but losing as much weight as possible before the assignments would be helpful.
