5:48 a.m. - It's already a weird day, and I just woke up. My Uncle Bill passed away yesterday. He had been ill for awhile. He had gotten the flu and then developed pneumonia, and he never came out of it. I had gotten a message from my mom about mid-day that he wasn't doing well and would be moved to hospice. And then in the evening, he had passed away. I guess he didn't want to go to hospice...can't blame him for that. He had a challenging life
A bit of happy news is that today is an anniversary day for Amber and me...11 years and counting. Maybe we can keep that number ahead of the grandchildren we now have! :)
Yesterday I did get the camper hooked up, but I'm a little worried that my fifth wheel set-up may need adjusted. Mr. Strachan is going to meet me after school tomorrow and be an extra set of eyes. The weather isn't exactly glorious - rain showers predicted for today, and frost warnings are predicted for next Monday....not exactly create camping weather. Obviously, getting the trailer hooked up means I got the truck back. According to Trent, it needs ball joints changed out sometime within the next six months, and probably tires, but it's nothing imminent. I'm sure that will be a couple thousand dollars. At least the oil change and inspection wasn't as much as I thought it was going to be yesterday.
Let's get through today...let's have a birthday party for Brinley tonight...let's get to the campground safely sometime...let's have a relaxing weekend. Book Fair Week is next week, and I'm told that the week is going to be a doozy...it will have to be a lot to be more overwhelming than this week has been.
