6:18 a.m. - Last night's Sectional Semi-Final went well...we dodged rain storms, and the game really was decided by the teams. There wasn't much to do on the bases, as both pitchers were strong and most of the runs were decided by home runs. Now I've learned I'll be headed to Oregon, IL to work the Sectional Championship game between Oregon and Riverdale. I'll have the plate, since Jason and the other partner both worked plates in the semifinals. The start time isn't until 7 p.m., so it will be a late night. Maybe with the later start time, even organizers are trying to work around the warm temperatures we've been experiencing lately, and I'm sure with a 7 p.m. start, there will be a good amount of fans from both schools, so it should be a great atmosphere. It will be fun.
Today, I have no games, which doesn't necessarily make it a rest day. I need to head into Rock Island and pay for the new diving platform (and take the mesh cover in to get it inspected), and I need to help mom with trimming the bushes in front of her house, and I need to come home and mow the yard. I think this morning I will get a swim in the pool before getting to the tasks of the day.

- contact contractor for pricing - fix the green door, west basement windows, west basement door, and under the deck
