6:10 a.m. - Yesterday was a big day....got the weeds in the ditch cut down and got the bushes trimmed.  We also went to Ava's t-ball game, and the event took me back to days when I helped coach my kids' teams.  And then I looked around and so that the vast majority of the kids really weren't ready to play organized sports.  I wonder and hope I didn't make that same mistake with my kids.  Carmen had her first night in her new apartment, Chase and his mom (my ex-wife) had another argument, and Cole stopped by to cool off in the pool.  Brandon and Amanda came over to swim with their kids; even baby Bridget made an appearance, even though she slept the whole time.  Also yesterday, I got the truck put back together, and so I'll use it today to get some pool things done.  Brandon helped me get the diving board off of the stand, so I'm going to head to Gannon's Pool and Spa to order another diving board and also ask them about the pricing of a new pool cover.  I may also ask them how much they charge to close the pool.  Then I need to get some liquid chlorine, so that's another reason to take the truck today.  I can't do any of that, though, until the stores open, which isn't until 9 a.m.  I think I might hit the pool and/or take a bike ride to get a little exercise in this morning before I go.  My mom has apparently had the flu for a couple of days, so she told me to stay away from her.  My hedge trimming job there, then, will need to wait.  It's kind of nice to have a little time to just relax this morning.  That won't last, though....I'll be heading to Burlington for softball umpiring with Jason - I also am with him tomorrow morning and tomorrow evening.

• buy four new jugs of chlorine
• Schedule GMC to be fixed when part comes in
• get I-Pass account set up for vacation
• fix the license plate on the GMC (again)
• Call Gannon Pool at estimate to replace Merlin pool cover  309-788-7727
• buy replacement diving board
• Continue working with TK to organize financial management things
• talk to TRS about whether or not to buy back years
• contact contractor for pricing - fix the green door, west basement windows, west basement door, and under the deck
