5:36 a.m. - Rain is this weather story this morning, and I just pulled up the radar, and there is a lot of rain there.  While normally I wouldn't call rain good news, and while normally I wouldn't need a day "off" from umpiring from a 3-day weekend that included a personal day on Friday...I could use a rainout today.  I did manage to get some school things done last night, but I have those projects I need to grade, and no umpiring tonight could offer considerable help getting that done. 

In other news, I'm really not sure what to do about this coming weekend.  I could use a little extra money umpiring some youth games, but I don't really want to umpiring youth games.  (Ya, that's a bit of a pickle.)  I also would like to spend some time with Chase for his birthday...maybe even camping.  On the other hand, it would be nice to just let JayFlight sit in the flight hanger for the week - nice and clean and ready to go for the big trip over Memorial Day weekend.  And then there is the weather, and Mother Nature hasn't exactly been kind the past two weekends that we have camped at Loud Thunder and then most recently at West Lake.  I'll have to keep thinking on that one.

• add assignments/activities/resources to Google Classroom
• Attach Dead Poets Society Assignment
• score assignments and record into Lumen as needed
• respond to student/parent emails and update grades
• schedule next FRW assignment for May 19

• schedule a horse guided tour of Gettysburg

• fix the license plate on the GMC (again)
• Call Gannon Pool at estimate to replace Merlin pool cover  309-788-7727
• Continue working with TK to organize financial management things
• talk to TRS about whether or not to buy back years
• fix the green door
• plan big adventure - dates are July 25-August 7
• figure out where and when to stop on return drive home
