6:33 a.m. - Yesterday I umpired a fresh-soph game at Mercer County that just may have been the coldest experience I ever participated in.  Two pairs of socks in plate shoes still had my feet cold.  I also wore two coats over a long sleeved shirt...still cold.  It was brutal.  Can this weather finally warm up and stay warm?

At school we got through most of the remaining training path projects, which means we now turn our attention the novels - Fahrenheit 451 for the English III sections and The Ox-Bow Incident for the Advanced English III sections.  I'd really like to get a small research paper in their somewhere prior to the end of the school year, but I don't think we'll make it.

The best news of the day yesterday was that I reserved a campsite for Loud Thunder this weekend...we are getting the Eagle out.  I know Loud Thunder is only five minutes away, but a friend of mine sent me a message telling me he was going out this weekend, so it just made sense.  The weather isn't going to be great, and the forecast is calling for rain early Saturday morning.  The temps, though, are at least going to be in the 60's.  I have some things I want to do with organizing the storage area, so just getting the camper out onto a site will be something different to do.
