Tuesday, August 4

7:18 a.m. - I'm going to try to run around the village again today, which would be two days in a row since I did it yesterday.  I know that sounds incredibly wimpy, as in my younger days, I could run for miles and miles each day.  My knee, though, has really limited my ability to run each day, along with my weight.  After exercise, I'm going to try to tackle the weeds and see of far I can get.  Chase is suppose to contact me when he gets up and around, and I'm hoping to do something with him, even though I'm not sure exactly what that will be.

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (8/4)

So Dr. Fauci is saying we need to reduce cases nationwide by 80% by the Fall, and schools are returning students to buildings.  How in the hell is that going to workout?  If we aren't remote learning and possibly locked down again by September, I'll be surprised.  It seems like the death rate still is fairly flat, and hospitalizations are still staying down in Illinois for the time being.

Holy Spirit...
Help me have...
    a pure heart, that I may see;
    a humble heart, that I may hear;

    a heart of faith, that I may abide in the spirit.
                                                                     Amen
