6:05 a.m. - We are back from vacation.  All systems are looking good right now.  I just ran the numbers for expenses, and if it wasn't for the purchase of trailer tires, we would have been under budget, which is great!  On the other hand, the purchase of tires isn't necessary a bad thing.  The tires will last us a long time, so the investment is good even if it was unexpected at this time.  We had a great adventure down in Pigeon Forge, and perhaps I'll talk about that in upcoming posts.  Today, will be "back to order" day.  I need to mow and get the trailer put back next to the house.  I also want to exercise and stretch and get back to health normal.

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (8/1) 

Now that it's August, I'll be turning my attention towards school.  Cases of the virus continue to grow, so I can't see this mess coming to an end anytime soon.  Hospitalizations and deaths appear to be slowing, so my guess is that younger and healthier people are contracting the illness but are able to avoid serious illness.  It's a big question to wonder how returning to school will affect the numbers of cases and hospitalizations and deaths.

• February 29 was the first reported positive case in Illinois. 
• March 20, there were 585 reported positive cases.
• As of May 29 (3 months), there were 120,260 positive cases and 5,390 deaths.
• As of June 29 (4 months), there were 142, 461 positive cases and 6,902 deaths.
• As of July 31 (5 months), there were 178,837 positive cases and 7,495 deaths.
