4:48 p.m. - I've been away for a couple of days - went camping at Loud Thunder with the Bizarri kids, and it was a lot of fun.  Most notably we biked the long trail in the park which is more of a horse trail than bike trail.  I was really tired and we had to use water bottle caps to fix the bike Chase was riding.  Today, I felt old again because going to my annual eye exam at Eye Surgeons always points out my elderly flaws - of course my vision is getting weaker, so I got new glasses with a stronger prescription.  Then I helped Amber in her classroom, and now as soon as I get off the computer, I'm going to mow the lawn.

Things to do for Ms. Mitola

- provide desk, faculty handbook, student handbook, and calendar

- invite Mrs. Hasson to visit Ms. Mitola's classroom

- introduce to other faculty and tour of the building - done

- routinely evaluate her performance - form, informal, how many times per week?

- help her with professional portfolio

- meet/talk with CS student teacher supervisor

- by second week of September - Ms. Mitola takes over advanced sections

- by end of September - Ms. Mitola has all sections

- by second week of December, I take over all sections and Ms. Mitola wraps up
