5:13 a.m. - It's the start of a work week, but it's a Tuesday.  That's never a bad thing, is it? 

Yesterday was productive.  In the morning I killed some weeds, and I hope I killed some creeping charlie out of my yard.  I tried something my neighbor recommended, so we'll see if it works.  I used one of those spray bottles from the hose and sprayed the entire backyard.  If I look out this morning when the sun comes up and the entire yard is brown, I'll know I did something wrong.  I also went around the trim lines and sprayed Round-Up, so I know I got those weeds.

After that, I worked out downstairs a little, and then I watched a couple of episodes of Hard Knocks, which is like a video documentary of the Bears this season.  I really like the episodes.  In the evening, I forced myself to take a walk, and then Amber and I jumped in the inflatable hot tub.  I finished the evening by watching some college football season - Florida State had been ranked in the Top 10 and has now lost its first two games.  They are a program that is now officially in trouble for this season.

Today is going to be challenging.  The students are going to be wound up in the morning, and they are going to be tired and cranky in the afternoon.  After that, Shawn and I have some officiating to complete - Rockridge at Sherrard volleyball.  At school, I would like to complete some informal evaluations in all the classrooms and get the new rug placed in the music room.  Those would be some good accomplishments.
