6:08 a.m. - Yesterday was perfect. In the morning, I was able to get some little things done - chlorine tabs in the pool, hot tub maintenance, did a little fixing on the wooden playground in the backyard, and installed a new speaker on the camper. The big completed task was weed wacking the ditches. That's not easy, and I got a little help from Brandon, which cut at least 30 minutes off of the job. Then Amber went to work at Shiver's and I took mom to Antonellas II to have some supper and see Chase. She hadn't seen him since before Christmas last year. Plus I found out from him that he's going to be done at the correctional facility some time in the middle of this month, which is great and scary news. It's great because that means he has completed his time, but it's scary because now he needs to make a go of it on his own and stay out of trouble. Apparently he's going to be staying with his boss at Antonellas, which is a good thing. Apparently, she lives in Davenport near the restaurant, so hopefully staying with her will be a good transition. On the way back home, mom needed to stop by Kenny and Mary's house to take care of their animals, so se did that, and then I dropped her off and came home. I spent the rest of the night watching television and then had a good night's sleep. The weather was perfect all day; I got some things done; and I got to see mom and Chase. I don't think I could have scripted that day any better.
So what to do today? I'd like to spray some weeds, so I'm interested in accomplishing that....after that, I'm really not sure. There is another college football game tonight on television, so that might end the day, but what to do in between?
