5:38 a.m. - No school today because the last two evenings have been parent-teacher conferences.  Yesterday was another productive day.  I got the work done I needed to complete off my to-do list.  It wasn't fun, and it was among seven conferences I had with parents, but it still needed to get done and got done.  I was so tired last night, that I went to bed fairly early for a Friday night.  Unfortunately, I woke up to unfortunate information about my oldest son.  There was an incident last night that will likely reshape his world for at least awhile. 

My brother is back home this weekend, so I hope to spend some time with him.  The weather is supposed to be beautiful, which sort of angers me because the trailer is put away for the winter.  On the other hand, maybe that was Mother Nature's plan to help me get some last yard work done for the Fall.  So today, I think I'll work on getting the yard mowed and maybe do some weed wacking.

I'm also hoping to get some exercise in; maybe I'll do that after a cup of coffee and the morning news.  Maybe I'll go see Greg too.  I might even go do some Christmas shopping.
