5:40 a.m. - Yesterday was okay. It was filled with grand dogs, grand children, and a wonderful lunch of spaghetti and ham-and-cheese sliders. It also had a disappointing Bears loss to the Packers. And it ended with a little Hallmark Channel Christmas movie. Oh, and in the morning I went to church service at Taylor Ridge and spent some time with mom. So in summary, it wasn't the quiet day I was hoping for, but it was a family filled with life and family and faith.
This week is going to have some variety to it, but it's going to be a long week. We have a couple of games in Iowa to schools I've never been before. We have an IESA sectional. I have a game night at Rockridge, and we end the week at the United Christmas Tournament. And we get it all started with a little trip to Abingdon this evening.
