Sunday, June 14

12:23 p.m. - Today has been productive.  I completed the online application for the truck I'm hoping to purchase, and included my insurance agent in the information.  I also updated the for sale notice on the Dodge.  Then I finished mowing the yard, backwashed and refilled the chlorinator for the pool, and commenced to clean/organize the garage.  Isn't amazing how much "stuff" accumulates that can just be thrown out or reorganized to save space and just generally look a lot nicer?

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (6/14)
Covid 19 cases are now surging in many states...many experts feared this would occur if social distancing measures were relaxed too soon and/or too fast.  Ugh.
  • Stats
    • February 29 was the first reported positive case in Illinois.
    • March 20, there were 585 reported positive cases.
    • As of May 29 (3 months), there were 120,260 positive cases and 5,390 deaths.
  • ILLINOIS PREVIOUS DAY
    • hospitalizations - 648
  • ILLINOIS YESTERDAY
    • hospitalizations - 610
  • ILLINOIS TODAY
    • hospitalizations - 562
  • ROCK ISLAND COUNTY
    • YESTERDAY -  752 positive cases; 28 deaths
      • TODAY -753 positive cases; 28 deaths
Things I Could Do or Need to Do In the Future
  • Remove hitch from Dodge.
  • Vacuum the pool.
  • Order and pick up eye drops.
  • Go to dentist (again).
  • Look at truck options - DONE YESTERDAY
  • Help mom with the barn stalls - DONE FRIDAY
  • Paint the shed.
  • Replace seals and gaskets in the pool motor.
  • Organize the west wall of the garage - DONE TODAY
Prayer for My Heart
Holy Spirit...
Help me have...
    a pure heart, that I may see thee;
    a humble heart, that I may hear you;
    a heart of love, that I may serve you;
    a heart of faith, that I may abide in you.
                                                                     Amen
